In 2016, Meri and Avril asked me to create the logo for their new booking agency, Futura Artists.
They shared some inspiring references, and from there, I began experimenting with sketches and collages, playing around with ideas until something started to take shape. After many tests, we settled on a minimalist figure of a human body. The design uses basic shapes for the limbs and torso, capturing a sense of movement and human form without being too literal. The sharp edges and angles add an almost robotic feel, like a futuristic blend of human and digital.
This abstract, universal figure felt right for Futura: simple, open, and with a hint of the experimental.
It could be everyone and anyone.
